ZILLERTALER HÖHENSTRASSE

The Zillertaler Höhenstraße is known as one of the most beautiful Alpine roads in Austria. The road was originally built in the 1960s for the management of alpine pastures and torrent control. Over the years, the road has also been opened to visitors and is now accessible via five different entrances, which are located in Ried, Kaltenbach, Aschau, Zellberg and Hippach.
